December 31

Happy New Year from our family to yours!!! This is going to be my last post on this blog. I'm having a hard time keeping it up - so many other things going on! I hope you've enjoyed my daily pictures for the past 3 years - I have enjoyed taking them but just don't feel like I can keep it up any more. I will continue our "main" blog and will post any pictures there. Thank you for following our family and caring about what's going on with us!

December 30

Finally got them out in the snow today. It was 35* and perfect snowball weather! We had a blast until we got wet and cold.

December 29

The boys love, love, love their new Lego table!

December 28

We went to a birthday party today for our friend, Nicholas. They live in Texas now and it was so great to see them (though the boys were surprised and a little upset that the party we were going to wasn't IN Texas). This is what it looks like when you try to take a picture of a group of 5-year-old boys!!!

December 27

Sullivan made this "garland" out of cereal for our tree. I told him since it was food it would get yucky before next Christmas so we put it outside for the birds instead.

December 26

And it's STILL coming down!

December 25

Merry Christmas!

December 24

Christmas Eve in their new pjs.

December 23

Making our cookies to decorate on Christmas Eve for Santa.

December 22

Our friends the Saveys came over this morning - love when we get these 6 kids together!

December 21

Blanket fort.

December 20

I didn't take ANY pictures tonight of Dad and Cindy with the boys (we had Christmas at their house tonight)!! I did take this one of them with Kim and Ronnie (and their new Zhu Zhu pets).

December 19

Hayride in Coffeyville!

December 18

Today we had a playdate with our sweet friends Georgia and Palmer. Love these two!!

December 17

The picture is bad but wow... I know I may be biased, but I think this child is an engineering genius!

December 16

Sullivan: "Mommy, I don't WANT to listen to this!!!! I don't LIKE this music!!!! I want to listen to NOTHING!!!!!"

Me: "Then close your ears."

December 15

Happy birthday, Grandma C!

December 14

Ahhh...

December 13

This was so cute... I was helping Mom wrap Christmas presents but we obviously couldn't wrap the boys' presents with them in the room. We made a comment about it and Papa B said, "I've got to go to the store, I'll just take them with me!" So - off they went!! I had faith they'd be safe - but had no idea B would come back sane! :)

December 12

Annual Christmas party at Grandma C's work! I picked this picture from the dozens I took because they worked SO hard on these beads. Isaac's vision is so bad and I didn't know if he would be able to even see the holes but he did great. Lorne's vision is bad as well but his fine motor is so bad that I was impressed he was able to do it at all (vision aside) and he would NOT accept help on this. Sullivan's was full of beads (FULL - we had to take some off to twist it together!) in three minutes. :)

December 11

Fashion statement... Davy Crockett hat, sunglasses and Cars pjs.

December 10

"Mommy, look at us - this is the crab walk!"

December 9

Lorne watched the clock for close to half an hour to see each time the minute changed... (in his ever present Batman costume)

December 8

Ahhh... It's a Charlie Brown Christmas on TV. All time favorite!!!

December 7

Work Christmas party for the board - lots of fun!

December 6

Pageant at church!

December 5

These are big posters a co-worker had made for a conference we had at work. The date and conference information was on them so they couldn't be reused and she put them in the trash... not seeing the potential for a 5-year-old!! Yes, the fronts were "trash" - but the backs were blank and perfect drawing space for budding artists (who could care less what is on the other side). Check out their masterpieces! (Isaac already lost his - is anyone surprised? I do wonder how you simply lose something THIS big!!)

December 4

Helping Daddy put the tree together. Then they put the first ornaments on (yes... there are still only three on the tree almost 24 hours later...)

December 3

Triplet Dinner at Cheesecake Factory!!!!!

December 2

Decorated the office today!

December 1

They finally turned the metered ramps on.

November 30

Isaac and Lorne's appointment with ophthalmology today - we waited for probably an hour all together (before getting to an exam room). The boys were AWESOME but did get rather antsy!

November 29

FINALLY worked out a time to get together with Brandon and Angela and meet Baby Lars!

November 28

Helping Papa Mike with the lawn.

November 27

Black Friday!! Mom and I were done shopping and ready for lunch by 9:30 but had to wait for them to open.

November 26

Thanksgiving!

November 25

Sigh... must be Christmas shopping time.

November 24

The boys brought these home from school today!

November 23

???? I don't understand what this is... it popped up one day on the side of the highway that I drove by on my way to work.

November 22

We made a quick trip back from the lake to Topeka! It was great to see all of the McB side of the family - and the cousins LOVED playing in the leaves!

November 21

Took family pictures at the lake today!

November 20

We headed to the lake today - Grandma Cindy Santa got the boys this "Elf on a Shelf." It's adorable though Sullivan said right away, "Um... that's stuffed, it's not a real elf."

November 19

We got to go to Sullivan's school to have lunch with him today. He was smiling from ear-to-ear the whole time we were there!

November 18

The boys had their appointment with the retina specialist today. They were so cute playing in the waiting room I tried to get a picture but they all "posed" instead.

Novemember 17

First snow! It only lasted a few hours before the rain melted it - but it was exciting to see!

November 16

Sigh... stocking hats and winter coats.

November 15

Tonight we had Thanksgiving with Scott's family. The boys LOVE to get together with their cousins!

November 14

Got to have dinner with my best friend tonight!! :)

November 13

Our friends, Georgia and Palmer, went to the zoo with us today. We had so much fun!

November 12

November 11

Most days when I come home from work I don't see Sullivan immediately. Lorne and Isaac run up to meet me but Sullivan is not in the room... he is usually here. Now he can open the internet, find his bookmark and get where he wants to be. He's practically a genius.

November 10

Lorne loves this new set of tools - it came with safety goggles!

November 9

Tonight I worked at a Dining for Babies event at 1924 Main. What a great time!

November 8

We did a March of Dimes "Family Fun Day" at Books-A-Million at The Legends this afternoon. We had a great turn-out and lots of fun! Since my boys didn't come, here is a picture of my cute friend, M.

November 7

Took the boys (and our neighbor, T) to see Mr. Stinky Feet today - Isaac, Sullivan and T got to be in the band! Actually - this is a really sweet story... Isaac, Sullivan and Lorne got "feet" which allowed them to come up and be in the band. T was pretty disappointed as he wanted one, too. Lorne said that since he had already been in the band, T could have his. My 5-year-old!! So proud.

November 6

We trick-or-treated Uncle Nick (and the grandparents) at work today. I was sick last Friday so we rescheduled - I think the boys were excited to wear their costumes again!

November 5

Visited Wonderscope today (without the kids) - we reserved it for our March for Babies Family Team kick-off in February! I think it will be a great venue for our families to gather.

November 4

Our first Bass Masters magazine arrived today! Sullivan "read" it cover to cover.

November 3

November 2

We had a doctor's appointment this morning and stopped at the mall on the way home to kill some time (the boys LOVE the mall!!). The boys were SO excited to see a Christmas tree!

November 1

Already getting creative with the Halloween candy!

October 31

October 30

He wore these for 2 straight days.

October 29

Halloween parade at school. Isaac and Sullivan's classrooms are right next door so they got to go together. Luckily Grandma J came up so she went with Lorne and Daddy went with the other two (Mommy was sick).

October 28

I may be biased, but I think we have the prettiest tree in the whole neighborhood!

October 27

I spent lots and lots (and lots and lots) of hours on this "Thank You" book for Johnny Dare. As you may or may not know he has been the honorary chairperson for our Bikers for Babies ride for the past 14 years. He LOVED it! Said it was "the best gift he'd ever received" and genuinely was touched. Worth ever minute!

October 26

Five year well-checks. You can read about the appointment here.

October 25

Boys are at Grandma and Grandpa's, got up at 10:30 and am now relaxing in fuzzy socks. Life is good!

October 24

O You! today with the girls!

October 23

Scott got his much anticipated running prosthesis today!!

October 22

LORNE GOT HIS BUTTON OUT TODAY!!!!!!!!!

October 21

Off to Parent Teacher conferences. Hey - I have THREE boys who have three different teachers and nine different weekly therapies... so, yeah, this box goes on all educational meetings.

October 20

Engineering Marvel.

October 19

Didn't buy anything today (we're not due for new glasses through our benefits until after the first of the year) but we're considering these as the boys' next glasses. They seem more sturdy than the wire-rimmed ones and their lenses are SO thick that we need sturdy.

October 18

Dinner of Champions on a Sunday night with hubby.

October 17

Boooo!!! This day is inevitable each year... but the day we have to break out the nebulizer as winter approaches is sad! So far he's holding his own but I am very nervous!

October 16

One of my favorite things we do... movie and popcorn every Friday night. One of the things I look forward to most each week!

October 15

Our first MOPS meeting at church!!

October 14

Went to go see my insurance agent today and he had this great display of all of the baseball/softball teams he's sponsored... I think I'm probably in some of these pictures at the top.
reat

October 13

I was in the stall "next door" and thought this was just hilarious to see! Darn they love those rainboots...

October 12

They are so adorable when they "dance" in the car!

October 11

"Look, Mom! I spelled 'sockerball'!"

October 10

Took the boys to the Renai.ssance Festival today. We had an okay time - but boy was it COLD!!! We only stayed a few hours but Isaac and Sullivan really enjoyed the cotumes and things.

October 9

Lorne was with Grandma this weekend so we just had the "twins" - they love to help make meals with Daddy!

October 8

Birthday lunch at Red Rob.in - they were SERIOUS about these sundaes!!

October 7

Sigh... last dinner with a 4-year-old.
